Accounting Policy Specialist
Financial Services
A large Financial Services organisation based in Sydney are seeking an Accounting Policy Specialist for a permanent role.
This role will support the implementation of new processes and systems to address the requirements of the new accounting standards over Financial instruments, Insurance contracts and Leases.
It will involve stakeholder management, developing local accounting policies, working closely with the project teams to interpret and prepare deliverables and establish new internal processes and controls.
In order to apply for this role, you will need to have a CA/CPA Qualification with 5+ years’ experience in Financial Services, ideally Insurance. You must have strong technical knowledge of new accounting standards in Insurance and local regulatory requirements.
