An Accountant is required to join this small, hard working but fun team in a Melton Chartered Accounting firm.
The role will involve completing individual tax return appointments, completion of BAS statements, completing small business tax returns and financials. The ideal applicant will be competent in these roles but seeking to grow and expand their skills.
The ideal applicant will live locally in the outer Western Suburbs of Melbourne.
In particular the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience
- Clear ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing
- Experience in completing individual tax returns in face to face appointments.
- A clear understanding of small business accounting issues
- Preparation of BAS's and GST knowledge
- Preparation of individual tax returns
- Dealing direct with clients
- Preparation of financials and tax returns for all business entities.
- Sound knowledge of common tax issues.
- Positive work attitude and commitment
- Good communication skills
- Bright, friendly and approachable personality
