Financial Controller
WEA Hunter is recognised as the leading provider of quality training and learning and is seeking applications for the role of Financial Controller.
This permanent 38hrs per week position encompasses all areas of accounting from forecasting to specific project work in support of the Senior Business Finance Manager and the Executive Director. The emphasis is on providing financial direction, timely financial and management account preparation and relevant analysis to assist in making business decisions. WEA is a public benevolent institution (PBI) and there is a competitive remuneration package for this position.
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate (but not limited to):-
Qualifications
- Accounting Degree or equivalent is essential
- Completed relevant CPA or ICA qualification highly regarded.
Knowledge and Experience
- Experience in a similar role in the community sector is highly desirable
- Demonstrated extensive experience in a financial role
- Demonstrated experience in people management.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft family of product essential
