This is a great opportunity to enjoy big city firm type work, training and clients, but also be closely mentored by one of the best Partners in the industry. The role will suit someone with approximately two years (guide only) of local business services experience, and who are looking to be promoted to Senior in the short term. Based in the inner East, the firm is growing very fast due to demand for its expertise from a growing list of high performing SMEs. The relatively small firm size allows a very supportive culture and the flexibility to react positively to both client and staff needs as they change and evolve. Staff enjoy the very best in ongoing training and support, and will benefit enormously from the active mentoring by the Senior Partner who is exceptionally well regarded in the market.
The role will entail you taking a critical role in the delivery of business services and advisory work to a sophisticated client list. You will be in direct contact with your clients and you will call on all your previous experience and personality to build your credibility and the advisor / client relationship. It is expected that you will be able to learn quickly and within a short time be promoted to Senior Accountant. You will require the confidence to ask questions when appropriate. Questions are encouraged and your development is a major focus of the firm. This is a hands on role. You will be exposed to value added advisory work and receive mentoring from exceptionally well trained and friendly managers and also from a super impressive Partner.
It is expected you will have commenced either the CA or CPA programs, and probably have approximately 2 (or more) years of local business services experience (guide only - could be more or less). Of course your communication, both written and verbal, will need to be excellent.
