Your new role
Working exclusively alongside Hays Maroochydore, our client is seeking an experienced high level Accounts Payable Officer to cover a 13 month Maternity Leave contract. Under the guidance of the Office Manager, you will be responsible for facilitating the accurate and timely flow of paperwork and information within the office. Through effective communication and on time payments, you will be able to allocate costs and maintain new and existing relationships between client, contractor and supplier. As well as high end Accounts Payable duties, you will also, at times, be the face of the company. This will include greeting guests, answering phones when required, and ensuring the team and company maintain their happy and healthy culture.


What you'll need to be successful

• Advanced Accounts Payable experience
• High level experience with Excel and all Microsoft applications
• Cost coding experience (Quotes, dockets, purchase orders, invoice reconciliation etc)
• Bank reconciliation experience
• Payment Schedule experience
• Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
• A happy and approachable attitude
• Impeccable attention to detail and ability to use high levels of time management skills
• High levels of effective communication skills
