As a global leader in cash technology solutions, we provide the financial, retail, cash centre and gaming industries with confidence that their cash is protected and always working to help build a stronger business.

Our cash automation technologies and process engineering services help businesses in more than 100 countries optimise the handling, movement and management of cash. While we span the globe, we personally engage with each customer to address their unique challenges and goals — enhancing staff efficiency, reducing operating costs and enabling a more rewarding customer experience.

We offer peace of mind. We enable transformation. We generate options. We empower people. We do all this by releasing companies from the burden of cash management, putting cash to work, and helping customers enhance the value that their staff and facilities add to their business.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join our team based in Macquarie Park.  Reporting to the ANZ Finance Manager, this role is responsible for providing financial and commercial support to the Australian team and enhancing local decision-making processes through the proactive provision of financial analysis and interpretation, whilst also supporting the Finance team through a period of change following the implementation of a new ERP system.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Championing the ERP system to ensure it is utilised to its full potential, in order to continually improve processes and efficiency within the Finance function and the wider business;
  • Leading month end activity;
  • Working closely with the Finance Manager to analyse and interpret results and trends, including monitoring revenue and overheads and, where appropriate, proposing corrective action in relation to deviations against budget;
  • Supporting the Finance Manager with the preparation of the annual budget, monthly and quarterly financial forecasts, helping to drive forecast accuracy;
  • Preparing statutory tax and reporting requirements, such as annual statutory accounts, Country by Country tax reporting, GST, FBT, Workers Comp and Payroll Tax;
  • Liaising with and supporting our auditors in line with the Group timetable;
  • Controlling the company’s fixed assets, including the approval process for capitalisation; and
  • Leading the preparation and control of the monthly payroll.

To be successful in this role you will have relevant tertiary and professional qualifications along with previous experience in a similar role.   Strong attention to detail and commercial acumen are essential, as are excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure while delivering results.   You will be highly self-motivated with proven ability to prioritise demands on your time, and knowledge of Oracle JDE or another large ERP is desirable.

If you are interested in our opportunity and want to join a successful global organisation that genuinely supports your ongoing growth and development we’d love to hear from you!
