We have an exciting opportunity for a driven finance professional, with a continuous improvement mindset, and who is committed to contributing to MMS's continuing success. 
 
As an integral member of the Group Finance Team, the Finance Manager - Asset Management segment will lead the finance team that partners with the business to provide strong financial stewardship, accurate and timely reporting, business planning and analysis; as well as supporting commercial and strategic decision-making. Reporting to the Group Finance Manager the role will also be responsible for the reporting oversight of the UK businesses, providing the Group with insights into the performance of those operations. 
 
Along with Asset Management segment responsibilities, the role will also be a key member of the Corporate Finance leadership team that will drive group-wide initiatives and actively contribute to building and extending the capabilities of the entire finance function.  
 
The finance function has established clear strategic objectives which will transform the way in which it delivers its expertise, and this role is pivotal to the realisation and further development of the strategic imperatives.
 
To be considered for this role you will have the following:
  • Continual career progression to date with demonstrated core capability in a senior finance role
  • Demonstrated experience in leading, developing and mentoring high performing teams
  • Demonstrated ability to establish excellent working relationships across all levels
  • Superior verbal & written communication skills - both formal and informal
  • Proven ability to partner with Executive management to deliver value to the business
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to drive IT system and process improvement initiatives
  • High standard of customer care and service delivery
  • Adaptability and superior customer focus
  • Strong technical accounting expertise and knowledge of finance transactional processes, particularly in a tier 1 ERP system
  • ACA / CPA qualification
  • Previous fleet management/asset financing industry experience would be advantageous
