Two newly created positions for an Accounting Services Supervisor have become available within our head office business, this is a unique opportunity to join a growing industry leader and take on a supervisory role within our Accounting department. The Accounting Services team produces 4 work products being payment of over $1b payroll third party payments, reconciliation of over 140 payroll related balance sheet accounts, 22 bank reconciliations for the group and lease processing. With over 55,000 employees, this is a high-volume transaction processing environment in a complex and diverse business.
We are currently seeking a commercially astute leader to supervise a team and to deliver work products to agreed service levels of time and quality. A key focus in this position will be to drive continuous improvement activities through the division, you will also play a central role in problem solving activities.
About You;
Ideally this role is suited to candidates with tertiary qualifications in accounting, with a least 1 years’ exposure in managing people.
· Exposure working within complex reporting structures, incorporating process improvement.
· You will be proficient in optimising the effective use of Tier 1 ERP / Financial Reporting systems as well as MS Office (Advanced Excel skills are essential for this position)
· Strong analytical and planning coupled with demonstrated success in being able to prioritise workloads and add value in a team environment.
· Success in developing and implementing business plans as well as communicating all finance matters, business results, forecasts, and reports.
· Strong service focus with a proactive approach to delivering on time.
· Leadership capabilities and people management skills combined with demonstrated success within a constantly changing environment.
