An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Coordinator to join our team in our Head Office, Newcastle. This role is exciting, challenging and varied and the successful candidate will become an integral member of the team.

Reporting to the Head of Finance and HR, responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to: 

  • Providing system support and accounting assistance to our network of Travel Consultants;
  • Preparation of Banking and Bank Trust Account Reconciliations;
  • Reconciliation of both Payable and Receivable accounts;
  • General administration support;
  • The ability to document and update current company procedures;
  • Provision of varied weekly and monthly reports to management and our corporate clientele.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • previous experience in an Accounts Payable or Receivable role;
  • experience in payroll and MYOB;
  • moderate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills;
  • a strong attention to detail and be highly organised;
  • excellent time management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines;
  • a strong desire to work collaboratively and productively as a team member and take direction from other senior colleagues;
  • a can-do attitude and a desire to learn and grow within the company.

Having experience in the Finance and/or the Travel Industry would be an advantage.
