About the role
The Operations Finance team is responsible for all the financial transactions of the business. There are currently 4 people in this team. This team is responsible for providing phone support to mobile consultants, processing payroll, payments to suppliers, BSP and debtors. They are looking for someone who has leadership experience and loves being at the centre of a busy operation. Meeting deadlines, co coordinating the team, and finding ways to improve control and automate processes is key to this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the financial systems and data integrity of the two applications
used by customers - Assist with risk and compliance functions
- Provide phone support on systems for customers
- Bank and account reconciliations
- Process payroll
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards
- Assist with special projects and the implementation of systems and process
improvement initiatives
Skills/Experience
- Exceptional time management & prioritisation skills
- CPA/CA or studying towards
- Demonstrated ability in developing and implementing business strategy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to develop relationships at all levels
- Strong analytical skills with initiative to resolve issues or pursue business opportunities as they are identified
- Strong customer focus
- Strong leadership skills, commercial acumen and technical knowledge
- High degree of flexibility and ability to deal with change, growth and pressure
