About the role:
As an experienced Accounts Receivable officer, your role will include but is not limited to:
- Management and follow up of outstanding accounts via phone and email
- Ensure all clients pay outstanding invoices within contracted terms of business
- Preparation of various AR reports as required by the business
- Manage the banking and receipting process of payments received from clients
- Send copies of invoices, time sheets and respond to client queries as required in a timely manner
- Issue client statements on a monthly basis
- Maintenance of the accounts receivable subsidiary ledger and master files in the finance system.
- Reconciliation of the subsidiary ledgers to individual general ledger control accounts
- Assist with business and system process improvements
- Assist in general financial management and analysis
About You:
To be successful in this role you will bring at least 2 years' experience in an Accounts Receivable role. Have an understanding of accounting within the Accounts Receivable environment. You will have excellent attention to detail and the ability to see tasks through to conclusion.
Strong negotiation and influencing skills, along with your service oriented approach is also an essential part of this role.
