Payroll OfficerWe are looking for a Payroll Officer to join our Mascot team. Reporting directly into the Finance Director you will play important part in the integration of a newly acquired company and ensure our existing payroll runs smoothly and on time.
This is a part time 12 month contract with a possibility to move to permanent.

The opportunity
The role of Payroll Officer is to process the payroll for Australian staff on ADP payforce and ensure all employees are paid timely. In addition the role will work as a key part of the Equinix team in on-boarding staff from the recently acquired business.
Responsibilities
Payroll Processing
- Reviews data feeds from HRSS
- Ensures all employees are set up in payroll system
Employee Support
- Answers complex employee payroll inquires
Data Analysis
- Analysis of imports from Vendors and review of Specialist entries for accuracy
- Leave and Payroll tax Accruals and reconciliations
Collaboration
- Collaborates with various teams to identify any payroll issues
- Answers complex payroll questions from cross-functional departments
System Management
- Reviews results and makes corrections to the system
Vendor Management
- Reviews and creates payroll file for transmission to vendor
- Responsible for managing the vendor(s) supporting. This includes negotiating contracts, staying abreast of system enhancements, submitting enhancement requests
Superannuation
- Liaison with ADP and Superannuation Providers to ensure staff are correctly set up on Super plan
Integration
- Working closely with the integration project team, Finance and HR to migrate staff from acquired business onto existing ADP PayForce system
Experience required
- Available to work 3 - 4 days per week
- Experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of ADP Payroll preferred
- Intermediate to excellent Microsoft Office Excel required
- Positive can do attitude
