Following a recent promotion, they are actively looking for a talented finaical accountant to join the group reporting team on a 6 month contract.

About the role

Reporting into the Group Reporting Manager the core focus of the position will be to produce the consolidated financial reports.

Your initial responsibilities will include:

• To maintain the General Ledger Accounts;
• Review and analysis of the balance sheet and profit and loss accounts;
• Management of journal entries, accruals and prepayments;
• Assist with the preparation and review of group budgets and forecasts;
• Prepare and submit monthly BAS entries including GST, Superannuation, etc.
• Drive continuous improvement in relation to internal processes and procedures, whilst ensuring compliance with Internal Audit standards;
• Assisting with both Management Reporting and Statutory Reporting along with other Ad-Hoc reporting duties.

About you

• Big 4 trained;
• CA qualified;
• 5-7 Years Accounting experience;
• Knowledge of the project finance environment;
• Experience in Month end accounting and variance analysis;
• Worked completing BAS preparation;
• Experience preparing or auditing consolidated financial reports for ASX listed entities.
