The Company
We are working with a large business located close to the Homebush precinct who are seeing an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team on a temporary basis. You will be working within a team environment, taking ownership of a delegated Payroll Portfolio.
The Role
As the Payroll Officer, your will report into the Payroll Manager and will be required to process End-To-End Payroll Duties which include, but not limited to:
- Processing of Weekly, Fortnightly & Monthly Payroll
- Reconciliation of PAYG, Workers Compensation and Superannuation ledgers
- Weekly processing of timesheets
- Ownership of New Starters and Terminations
- Calculation of termination payments
- Experience with Awards and EBAs
The Successful Candidate
You will have minimum 5 years’ experience within a Full Function Payroll position and will have a sound knowledge of understanding and interpreting AWARDS and EBAs within a fast paced and high-volume environment. You will also have:
- Experience with SAP (highly desirable)
- Strong communication and written skills
- Demonstrate proficiency with Excel
- High accuracy and High level attention to detail is a must
- Must be immediately available to hit the ground running
On Offer
Our client’s office is conveniently located within close proximity to the train station and busses and are offering the successful candidate between $40 - $45 per hour + superannuation. Based on performance, there could be an opportunity for extension if not a chance to go permanent (based on performance).
