This Top 20 national firm provide accounting, taxation and advisory services to leading multinational and Australian organisations as well as medium sized companies and HNW's. Other services include a full range of accounting services, corporate tax consulting and advisory, complex international consolidations and financial statement preparation and analysis.
Your new role
As a Supervisor/Manager from Business Services or Tax you will work on key tax compliance and consulting assignments as part of a dynamic tax team. Key responsibilities include, researching and providing written advice on complex tax matters and BAS, the preparation of income tax returns, FBT and BAS, preparing tax entries and related notes for financial reports, supervising and mentoring junior accountants, building strong relationships with clients and becoming a primary point of contact. You will need to keep up to date with current legislation and having a thorough knowledge of Australian taxation law. You’re role will be consulting based and will include taxation advice to both external clients and other business units in the organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
Candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal skills as well as the ability to work well and contribute effectively in a team environment. You will be CA qualified and it is desirable you have a Masters of Taxation or working towards this.
