About this opportunity

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Commercial Officer, this position will lead the final stages of development, business education and change management associated with the implementation of Sadleirs’ Finance ERP system. As part of Sadleirs’ business strategy, we are implementing the Oracle ERP system to compliment our second stage purpose built Oracle Transport Management (OTM) and Warehouse Management (WMS) systems. The successful implementation of these systems will transform the way we do business.

The ERP Implementation Manager is responsible for providing financial and system subject matter expertise and input into the final stages of ERP system development, including, driving action as needed from the Finance Team. In addition, the ERP Manager will be responsible for delivering user acceptance, testing, training, mentoring and confident operation of the system. The ERP implementation manager also has a key role in the successful implementation of the OTM & WMS systems and the integration with the ERP in stage 2 of the project.

Key Duties

  • Complete the final stages of development and implement a workable ERP system, which through your input, seamlessly integrates with the existing legacy and future OTM and WMS systems.
  • Lead the Finance Team through ERP development activities and training, delivering a well-accepted systems with confident users.
  • Develop the relevant reports for end users
  • Identify business improvement opportunities within the Finance function, which could be solved through the ERP system.
  • Delve into the ‘nitty gritty’ of the ERP, OTM and WMS systems and associated processes, as necessary, including process mapping, reconciliations and similar activities, as needed.

Skills, qualifications & experience

  • At least 10 years’ experience in a systems-focussed role, where demonstrated experience of implementation of several cloud-based systems is essential.
  • Previous experience with implementation of complex, multi-functioned systems (such as Oracle and SAP), in complex, multi-sited Companies.
  • A degree or higher qualification in Finance or Accounting is essential, where a CA or CPA is preferred.
  • Proven experience in leading groups through change, project management, mentoring and training is essential.
  • Previous experience working in the transport, logisitics and warehousing industry will be highly regarded.
