A unique opportunity presents itself within this role for a globally recognised Media business. You will be a true business partner and provide financial support to identify trends, insights and analysis backed up with solid recommendations to help execute business strategy.
Description
Reporting into the Commercial Finance Manager, you will partner with key stakeholders across the group to provide commercial insights to identify cost savings and help them make informed decisions on a range of future-growth related initiatives. Your duties include:
- Commercial analysis of financial information
- Budgeting & forecasting
- Variance analysis on sales results versus budget providing value-add commentary
- Business case modelling and analysis
- Interpreting large amounts of complex customer and pricing data in to enable more informed decisions
- Identifying improvement opportunities and implement cost effective solutions
- Supplying recommendations to sales and operational heads
Profile
Key requirements include:
- Big 4 background highly regarded
- Excellent excel skills with the ability to work with complex data
- Excellent analytical & modelling capabilities
- A proven track record of providing recommendations that will impact the businesses growth and profit agendas directly
- Ability to communicate with financial & non-financial stakeholders
