Role
The role carries responsibility for preparing financial statements and statutory compliance reports, including BAS, FBT and tax returns, for individuals, and SMEs across various sectors, as well as tax planning and business advisory services to clients.

 

Candidate
You must have strong technical skills with demonstrable knowledge in providing general and specific accounting, taxation and business structuring advice.

You will thrive on building client relationships and will be able to monitor and meet client imposed deadlines. Possessing strong leadership and time management skills are essential.

Qualifications and Experience required:

  • Minimum three years of Australian Business Services experience within a practice environment,
  • Xero Certification and working experience with Xero Practice Manager or other cloud software packages would be advantageous
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential
  • Tertiary qualified 
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Australian Income Tax legislation as it applies to SMEs

Remuneration will be commensurate with experience - package comprises salary and bonus.
