Our client is a privately owned retail company in South West Sydney, with an outstanding reputation in the market. There is currently a permanent position available for a driven Accounts Payable Officer to join their Head Office location as soon as possible. Joining a centralised Finance department, this business promotes a healthy work life balance, and offer a supportive, family friendly culture.
 
The Role
Reporting to a hands on AP/AR Manager; your role will encompass a wide variety of tasks, to support and assist the finance function. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Completing daily banking
• Collating and processing invoices ready for payment
• Resolving invoice discrepancies
• Following up key internal stakeholders for payment approvals
• Reconciling supplier accounts
• Bank reconciliation
• General administrative support such as scanning, filing, and archiving will be required as part of this position. 

Your Profile
You have solid experience working in a position in Accounts Payable. You must have exceptional communication skills and the confidence to liaise with all levels of business. To be successful in this role, you will have basic to intermediate excel skills and prior knowledge of MYOB would be plus. A proactive approach to your work, positive attitude, and the ability to work as part of a team are a must.
