About the company
Herkess & Partners is a busy, customer centric Chartered Accounting firm, conveniently located 5 mins walk from Sydney Town Hall. The firm works with a broad base of both domestic and international clients, offering a wide range of tax and business services as well as SMSF.
About the role
Working within a small team, you will manage your own portfolio of clients, including SME’s with turnovers of up to $20m. Reporting directly to three partners, you will be expected to autonomously manage your portfolio through engaging with clients directly and forming strong relationship with them. The role includes running face to face meetings with clients from varied industries including construction, real estate, doctors and retail.
We are looking for a qualified accountant (CA/CPA or near completion of CA/CPA qualification) with > 5 years experience in taxation and compliance across all entities and with specific experience in SMSF to manage our client portfolio.

- Experience and knowledge in taxation and compliance across all entities with specific experience in SMSF
- Someone who can hit the ground running and is solutions driven
- Proactive attitude to learning new skills, technology and practice software
