NTT DATA Australia is a global SAP, Oracle and Salesforce Partner with projects running in several client businesses throughout Australia.
As a Financial Accountant, this hands-on position requires a candidate with minimum 5 years’ experience. We are looking for are technically strong candidate with exceptional attention to detail who is passionate about progressing their career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall accounting operation and coordinating with shared services team
- Invoicing and revenue recognition activities
- Ensure the integrity and production of information used in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS
- Liaise with offshore team to ensure correct intercompany charges for project accounting.
- Monthly reporting, forecasting and budgeting analysis
- Review the accuracy of monthly accounting transactions, financial results and investigate variances in a timely manner
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly management reports for Senior Executives
- Support sales team in project cost modelling for approvals
- Responsible for payroll processing and other HR administration duties with support of administrative assistant
- Responsible for preparation and submission of all statutory compliance such as Superannuation, BAS, PRT, FBT, Income Tax returns etc.
- Liaise and provide support to External audit and Internal Audit (JSOX) as required
Skills Required (Technical and General)
- Microsoft Office (Advanced Level)
- ERP knowledge is desirable
- Project Accounting
- IFRS
- Australian Taxation ie: GST, FBT, Payroll Tax
- Exposure to International Taxation is beneficial
- Exceptional communication skills – across all stakeholders
- Experience within Medium/Large corporation
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to meet deadlines and schedules
- Human resource management
Education and Experience
- Bachelor Degree – Major in Accounting
- 5+ Years experience
- CPA or equivalent qualification
