The Client
Our client, based in Brisbane’s inner suburbs, have the requirements for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join their team. This is a permanent opportunity which requires recent experience in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
Reporting to the Accounts Manager, this position is solely responsible for the Accounts Receivable function and also supporting the Accountants.
More specifically this role looks after:
- Manage key customer accounts including reconciliation, collection and dispute resolution;
- Collection of all debts in a timely manner;
- Take responsibility for the debtor’s ledger including reporting and analysis of debtor’s performance;
- Set up new customer accounts and maintain customers within credit terms and limits;
- Allocations and receipting to Accounts Receivable Ledger;
- Invoice raising and credit adjustments;
- Reconciliation of multiple bank accounts;
- Complete monthly GL reconciliations and process general ledger journals;
- Perform transactions and functions associated with intercompany orders; and
- Additional ad-hoc duties as required.
The Person
- Minimum of three years in a specialised Accounts Receivable role;
- Full function Accounts Receivable experience;
- Ideally you will have strong reconciliations skills, including General Ledger reconciliations;
- Strong time management skills and commitment to KPI’s;
- Team focussed attitude; and
- Strong customer service skills.
