What does this job involve?
You will manage the financials and provide accounting support for both the clients and the Business line. You will be required to deliver accurate and timely financial and management reports to the leadership team, and communication will underpin your priorities.
As the finance lead, you will attend regular client meetings and review of monthly performance of clients' buildings.
- Manage financial reporting your portfolio of assets
- Ensure Tenant outgoing recovery reconciliation is performed as per deadlines
- Ensure correct procedures are adhered to when processing journal entries.
- Process Client remittances per PM and Client instructions or as required.
- Process and prepare monthly cash, accrual, budgets & forecasts reports as per client requirements.
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and outgoings reconciliations.
- Raise monthly management commissions
- Reconcile GST Reports.
- Liaise with property managers for month end reporting
What are we looking for?
You will be qualified in finance, and have worked in the field extensively. Your knowledge and excellent interpersonal skills allowing you to liaise across many levels of commercial business and able to explain financials to technical and non-technical colleagues and clients alike. Ideally, with experience in the Property industry, you will have strong verbal and written communication skills with outstanding organisational and time management abilities.
You will be experienced in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, as well as CPA qualified.
You will have team management experience and Property accounting experience, with experience in MRI preferred.
