What's the role?
We're looking for an experienced and analytical Property Accountant to work across a portfolio within our Client Accounting Services Group.
Your key focus will be assisting in the financial control of a portfolio of properties for our clients. This is a great opportunity to be part of a friendly team and to join an industry leader in the property sector.
Key responsibilities;
- Maintain all property financial information in MRI
- Processing journal entries
- Ensure rent rolls are finalised and tenant statements are issued on time.
- Assist in allocation of EFT rental payments from tenants
- Process client remittances
- Process and prepare monthly cash, accrual, budgets & forecasts reports
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and outgoings recovery
- Raise monthly management commissions
- Reconcile GST reports
- Contact client accounting staff on month end reporting
- Ensure completion of month end financial reporting
Sound like you?
You've got commercial property accounting experience, ideally gained within property management accounting.
You're a great communicator and your skills will enable you to liaise with all relevant stakeholders including clients, property managers, leasing executives and senior management.
As a bonus, you'll also have exposure to our asset management software – MRI.
