An opportunity exists for an experienced Finance Manager to join PrimeAdvisory & work with the Directors to create the Perfect Advisory Firm for SME’s & Families.

The purpose of the role is to take this already successful Accounting & Wealth advisory firm to the next level, manage the finance function & assist the Directors in executing their business plan. The firm has a well-defined strategy, strong culture & clear goals.

Current revenue is $6M with a team of 27. The goal is to grow to $9M with a team of 30-35 in the next 4 years.

You are CA or CPA qualified, with:

  • Previous finance manager experience in the Financial (or Professional) Services industry
  • Advanced knowledge & adoption of software solutions
  • Experience working in teams of 25+
  • The ability to deliver the entire finance function (with limited resources)
  • A “can do” attitude
  • Excellent problem solving, decision making, time management, attention to detail, organisational, project management & people skills.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for:

  • Implementation & management of the finance function
  • Budgeting, decision making & strategic planning
  • Accounts payable & receivable
  • Day to day accounting, cash flow management, general ledger & reporting
  • Procurement & supplier relationships
  • Governance, business risk management & compliance
  • Payroll & HR functions
  • Continual evaluation of industry best practices, systems & processes
  • Development of dashboards & other reporting solutions for inclusion in our client service packages

You will collaborate with the directors & heads of the Accounting & Wealth divisions to set strategies, provide accountability and ensure operational excellence.

The goal is to create a firm that is visible in the marketplace, modern, attractive & resourced with the “right” people.

As Finance Manager, you will have autonomy to make decisions and full support of the directors.
