Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Apply audit and control policies, procedures and work instructions
Follow an annual plan to carryout efficient audit and investigation scheme which covers all risk areas and functions
Ensure accountability of all the financial records and their compliance with the approved accounting standards
Audit department performance with the approved policies and procedures
Audit records to ensure proper recording of transactions and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Review internal controls and their efficiency
Review business processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
Conduct special audits to detect fraud and develop prevention and detection controls
