Part - Time Accountant (Sydney)

2-3 days / week in Great Company Culture

The Role

As the main accountant, you will be reporting directly to the General Manager and your role will be

• Preparation  of quarterly BAS and  EOFY.
• Intercompany transactions (and monthly consolidations
• Preparation of financial reports
• Manage the end to end function of Accounts Payable 
• Work within a highly motivated team and with autonomy as needed.

The successful candidate will have:

• CA/CPA qualification, or relevant experience.
• 3-5 to  years of experience in a similar accounting role within a medium sized business
• Relevant experience around taking ownership of BAS preparation, payables and preparation of financial reports.
• Previous experience working with Xero is preferred
• Strong Excel skills would be advantageous, including an ability to analyze and manipulate financial models.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
