Client:

My client is a leader in the construction space, located in the trendy Inner West. They now have an opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join the team in a Full Time capacity.

The ideal candidate will have worked in the construction space previously and have a good understanding of the award schemes and legislations. Training will however be provided to the new recruit.

Responsibilities:

• Credit card reconciliations
• Reconciling supplier’s statements
• New supplier set ups
• Processing incoming supplier invoices
• Processing internal expense claims
• Liaising with suppliers on any invoicing queries, payment timing and discrepancies
• Ad-hoc administration tasks as requested to support the broader administrative/finance team 

 
Key Skills:

• 2+ yrs.in similar position
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Proven experience in Vista/ Jobpac or equivalent (desirable)
• Attention to detail and eager to learn
• Experience working in construction organisation (desirable)
