This is an opportunity for any highly skilled financial accountant that wants to take the next step in their career. In the role of financial accountant you will report directly in to the Financial Director who will act as your mentor, develop your skills and progress your career. In this media focussed business you will be presented with an ever changing fast paced environment where you will have lots of interaction with the rest of the business.

In this role your primary responsibilities will be that of a financial accountant, however you will have plenty of scope to develop your career in the direction you choose. Once you are up and running you will have the opportunity to make process improvements, suggest ways to maximise revenue and meet with senior level executives.

In this role your primary responsibilities will include:

• Full ownership of month end processes including bank reconciliations, journals, pre-payments and accruals
• Maintenance of the fixed asset register
• Assisting in the preparation and presentation of the board pack
• Variance analysis
• Assisting in the development of budgets and forecasts
• Analysing revenue streams to identify opportunities to maximise profitability

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following attributes:

• CA/CPA qualified. Those in the latter stages of qualification will also be considered
• Experience with month end close processes
• Enjoys working in an unstructured environment and has the self motivation to manage workload effectively
• Experience with Excel
• An analytical mindset
• A desire to progress towards a more commercial/analytical role
