Our Client

Our client is a Sole Director Accounting practice based south of the river and specialising in providing tax and business advice to its diverse client portfolio. Due to continued growth within the service offering to clients, a new opportunity has arisen for a suitable experienced accountant to join the tax and business services team.

They are offering a generous remuneration package for the successful applicant, CA/CPA support as well as opportunity for further career progression and training. 

Role and responsibilities:

• Preparation of tax returns and financial statements for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships.
• Working directly with clients and providing solutions on general tax matters.
• Providing assistance in the preparation of cash flow forecasts and researching tax matters where required.
• Liaising with and building relationships with clients, the ATO and other bodies as relevant and required.
• Assisting in the preparation of tax advisory services.

The Ideal Candidate Requirements:

• 2-3 years Australian tax and business services experience
• Part CA/CPA qualified - 1-2 units remaining or just completed
• Experience dealing directly with clients is essential
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Had experience in managing team workflow and mentoring graduates
