Payroll Officer needed ASAP for construction company based in North Sydney.

Your new role
This position sits within a team of 11 reporting to the Payroll Manager. The processing aspect of the payroll is outsourced however you will have experience across end to end payroll. You will be responsible for:

• Overseeing payroll processing and superannuation payments
• Reconciling the GL accounts
• Producing payroll reports
• Making sure payroll is complaint to relevant legal and regulatory requirements
• Month end closing
• Termination payments
• Ad hoc duties

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will possess:

• Experience with high volume payroll and outsourced payroll
• Previous experience with a large scale payroll system (Preceda would be ideal)
• Knowledge of EBAs
• Construction industry experience
• An outgoing, easy going and social personality
• The ability to think outside the box
• Excellent communication skills
