Our Client
We are currently working with a Manufacturing business located within Parramatta District who are seeking a highly experienced Accounts Payables Officer to join the team on a temporary basis. Onsite parking is available on premises for employees and will be a great opportunity for someone who is looking to work closer to home.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be required to perform the following tasks but not me limited to:
- Matching, batching and coding of supplier invoices
- Managing AP Inbox for 2 subsidiaries
- Work with high volume of Purchase Orders
- Coordinating weekly payment runs, including foreign currency payments
- Preparing BPAY payments
- Reconciliation of supplier accounts
- Ad hoc tasks as requested
The successful candidate
To be considered for this position you will have minimum 5 years’ experience within a Full Function Accounts Payables position. This is a fast paced and busy environment and will require you to work autonomously, be proactive and professional always.
- Experience to NAVISION is highly regarded
- Standalone experience in a full function AP environment is highly regarded
- Must have excellent communication and written skills including high standards of phone manners
- Intermediate excel skills - Vlookups, Pivot tables etc
- You will be proactive, detailed orientated and highly analytical
- Your experience will showcase your ability to be a quick thinker and solutions orientated
- You will be immediately available and will have your own transport
On Offer
This is a temporary assignment with a possibility of extension based on performance. You will be remunerated between $28 - $31 per hour + super for this assignment.
