Project Accountant
- 3-6-month contract - ASAP
- Circa $85K plus super, pro-rated for term
- Global organisation, Brisbane CBD location
A Project Accountant is required urgently to provide support to existing technical services projects on a 3 to 6-month contract. This role will see you provide up to date finance reports to project stakeholders on various financial activities including project budget versus actuals, including invoicing management, month end reporting and ad hoc financial reporting. You will also coordinate the control and reconciliation of project accounts, ledgers and systems and ensure data capture and transfer of integrity.
The ideal applicant will have minimum degree qualifications in Accountancy or related discipline with minimum 4+ years’ experience in financial analysis and project accounting and reporting within a large complex organisational environment. You will be a self-starter, with an ability to work independently and hit the ground running. You will have well developed communication skills with an ability to engage with non-financial stakeholders. Strong skills in Excel, coupled with strong analytical skills are essential.
