Our client is a leading global Property & Infrastructure business. Their regional finance function is primarily responsible for the provision of high quality commercial support, accounting, reporting and administration for the organisation.
 
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will build strong working relationships across the organisation in this broad finance role. As the Senior Financial Accountant you will be key in supporting the delivery of a variety of accounting and analytical services to Finance and also the wider business. 
 
As the Senior Financial Accountant you will assist in;

• The delivery of management reporting ensuring accuracy and timeliness, including departmental management reports
• The provision of accurate and timely financial and statutory reporting
• Manage the Group's fixed assets register (including regular additions, disposals, depreciation etc)
• Managing inter-company recharges and the communication of these costs to the respective business units
• Corporate function and business unit communication
• Preparation of the monthly BAS and preparation of monthly payroll tax
• Monthly board reporting
• Liaise with external auditors and assist with the preparation of technical accounting position papers.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large international business with extensive local and overseas operations to develop your career. To be successful in this role you will be CA qualified chartered accountant (2 -  5 years PQE). This could represent a fantastic opportunity to make your first step out of chartered (either "Big 4" or business services) or you may be currently undertaking a Financial Accounting role within industry and now be looking to take a step into a broader and more senior finance position. You will have a strong technical accounting aptitude and impressive communication skills.
