The Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager - Corporate Services of the business your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
  • Drive the development of the annual organisational budget
  • Support operational divisions through the periodic financial evaluation of programs and projects, including validation of assumptions, drivers, costs and benefits
  • Provide proactive and substantial support to business units in the structuring of business cases for programs and projects
  • Undertake regular and ongoing analysis of performance against budget, including developing financial forecasts, variance and trend analysis
  • Provide value-adding analytical support through identification of emerging issues and recommendation of approaches to rectify
  • Proactively manage the relationships with, and expectations of, key stakeholders across operational divisions in relation to forecasting, budgeting and variance and trend analysis. 
  • Participate in the development of quality business modelling, tools and systems to improve management decision making
  • Adhoc duties as requested
  
Skills and Experience
Ideally CA or CPA qualified, the successful candidate will have proven analytical and business partnering experience gained within a fast paced environment. Happy to roll up the sleeves, you will be passionate and keen in making a positive impact in the wider community. Your communication skills and ability to build relationships with both financial and non-financial stakeholders will be crucial in order to achieve this.
