Accounts Payable Job for a Large Construction Company
Accounts Payable Officer
Your new company
At Hays we are working with a large construction business located in the Southside Outer Suburbs of Brisbane. They are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team on a permanent basis to start immediately.
Your new role
You will be responsible for the end-to-end Accounts Payable function and your core duties will include:
- Timely and accurate processing and payment of invoices
- Processing reimbursement claims
- Job Costing
- Payment runs
- Matching, batching and coding
- Liaising with suppliers on a daily basis to follow up on inquiries
- Creating purchase orders
- General ledger reconciliations
- Statement reconciliation
What you’ll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a high volume environment is essential
- Previous experience using MYOB EXO or Cheops would be highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail
- Intermediate Excel skills - VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables
- Effective communication skills
