Financial Accountant
We are an innovative and exciting company in the renewable energy space. Currently looking for a hardworking, quick-thinking and friendly Financial Accountant to join our high performing finance team for a 3-month project. Due to the company's past rapid expansion and planned diversified growth we are looking for a professional and experienced individual that can adapt quickly and hit the ground running. The role
Working in the finance team, you will report directly to the CFO. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Supervision of Off Shore AP & AR functions
- Reconciliation of vendor accounts
- Reconcilation of sales partner payments
- Month-End closing
- Support the finance team to reconcile any variances and discrepancies that may arise
- Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations
- Producing monthly financial reports
- Assist with the development of tax compliance processes for GST, PAYG and FBT
- Working with the CFO, Directors and the business to develop and implement sound processes to support the future growth of the organisation
Your profile
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in a similar Finance role and ideally you will be familiar with a small to medium ERP systems, ideally Xero. You are results oriented and able to prioritise and stay focused in a dynamic environment.
You will be able to handle multiple responsibilities and will complete all tasks with accuracy. You will be expected to interact with both internal and external stakeholders, so strong communication and rapport building skills are essential.
