Accounts Payable Officer

We are currently seeking experienced accounts payable candidates to join our nationwide residential construction company based in Varsity Lakes. This role is exclusive to Randstad.

You will be joining a well known business that have been established for the last 25yrs. They boast a large 20 staff accounting team so you will be surrounded by a wealth of knowledge and provided with the utmost support to be successful in your role. You will be sitting in the AP Suppliers team with three close colleagues. You will be responsible for ensuring the electronically scanned invoices are collating the correct information, to do this you will have a keen eye for detail. Reporting is conducted at the end of each day and needs to be revised against manually input spreadsheets. Bank reconciliations and standard transactional accounting processes are all typical daily requirements of the position.

This is a high volume position, it will require someone who is able to manage multiple tasks at once, have a really good eye for detail and able to work well under pressure.

This role is a full time permanent position that also requires:

• Accounts payable experience, minimum of 3yrs
• An understanding of the full accounting process
• Experience completing bank reconciliations
• Bonus if you have previous knowledge or use of Databuild and/or Filebound.
