THE ROLE:
We are currently seeking an experienced payroll officer to join a nationally recognized company for a 3 month contract.
Joining their Payroll Services Team, you will assist with administering and processing end to end payroll for over 35,000 employees Australia wide using Chris 21 and SAP systems.
This position will see you assisting with teams across Payroll Operations (including Payroll Services, HR and Time & Attendance) to manage peaks and troughs throughout the world load.
To be successful in this role you will need to be confident in building customer confidence and meeting deadlines efficiently and accurately to enhance the employee experience. You will also be required to contribute to meetings and workshops to encourage continuous improvement and meet relevant legislations at all times.
DUTIES:
• Assess and process transactions within deadlines to meet individual and team KPIs
• Operate under limited direction and supervision
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Work effectively and cooperatively with others to enhance the employee experience
• Prioritize and organize workload
REQUIREMENTS:
• Experience using Chris 21 and SAP system
• Knowledge of HR and payroll systems, processes, business rules, principles and practices
• Interpersonal communication skills - written and verbal
• Demonstrated experience in problem solving and disciplined approach to meeting deadlines
• Confident ID skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to prioritize your own workflow allocations
• Must pass a National Police Check
