Current Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant in our Business Services division to provide compliance and advisory services to clients across a range of professional industries.
The Business Services division ensures client's success by driving growth, value and profitability. BDO's business advisers understand growth and success in the Australian market and international arena and focus on optimising client's profitability today, whilst working to plan and implement strategies for businesses to reach their full potential.
You’ll provide end to end accounting services for your clients. Some of your other key responsibilities will include:
- Compliance work for small corporations, multi owned businesses and high net wealth individuals
- Preparing and reviewing tax effect accounting
- Finalising tax returns for consolidated groups
- Financial reporting
- Cashflow forecasting and budgets
- Monthly management accounts
Ideally you’ll have the following skills and experience:
- 2-5 years’ experience within a chartered environment
- CA/CPA qualification completed or close to completion
- Demonstrable experience working on consolidated groups and tax effect accounting
- Excellent client advisory and communication skills
- Intermediate technical knowledge, intermediate level compliance experience and
- General consulting exposure to a range of clients
