The Position
We are seeking a Management Accountant to join the Finance Team. The successful candidate will be joining a Corporate Agriculture Organisation. Reporting directing to the Financial Controller, the role currently has a focus on Dairy, however due to growth this role will be expanded across other agribusiness areas. The successful candidate will be required to travel with the agribusiness team during the year.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Financial reporting and analysis, including commentary on variances to budget and forecast
- Planning, budgeting and forecasting for commercial business units
- Cash flow management, capex analysis and transfer pricing/inter-entity transactions
- Continuous process and system improvements for financial reporting
- Ensuring all statutory and compliance requirements are met
The successful candidate will possess the following skills:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or related commerce major
- 3-5 years Accounting experience
- CA/ CPA qualification or near qualified
- Demonstrates high numerical ability
- Effective verbal, written & presentation skills
- Proficiency in analysing and communicating financial information
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
