Bene Aged Care is seeking an experienced and committed accounts assistant to join our Community Services team. The position is conveniently located at our modern Woodville office.
As the Accounts Assistant, your role will be to support the Administration Manager in all facets of finance and administration. In particular, you will assist in consumer billing, producing statements, maintaining accounts, purchase ordering and regular reporting. The accounts assistant will also be required to assist with general administration tasks and relieving on reception on occasion.
We are seeking a motivated, results focused individual who can meet the following essential criteria:
Essential Criteria
- Demonstrated finance and administration experience including:
- Billing, producing statements, maintaining accounts, purchase ordering
- Financial reporting
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team
- Proven ability to use initiative and problem solve
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Aptitude to learning computer programs/packages
- Ability to obtain National Police Clearance
Desirable Criteria
Experience in, or understanding of, Aged Care Legislation, Consumer Directed Care and fee structures will be a distinct advantage, as will experience in using CIM
