Exciting opportunity with a Boutique accounting practice with a great culture, we are located in Ascot Vale, on the city fringe.
We are looking for a Business Services/Tax Accountant with a minimum of 2-3 years recent experience.
You must have good technical skills and relevant public practice experience and have or be working towards your CA/CPA qualifications.
Your strong interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written) will enable you to interact with clients and members of the team.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of accounts and returns for individuals, partnerships, companies and trusts
- Preparation of BAS returns
- Preparation of various other ATO Lodgements
- Assisting with client advisory under the guidance of a Manager/Supervisor
Ideally you will have
- Is action orientated, and loves to make things happen
- Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills
- Has a minimum 2-3 years of experience working in a fast-paced Business Services firm
- Has or is working towards being CA/CPA qualified
- Has experience with a variety of accounting packages
- Ideally knowledge of Xero & Xero Practice manager (Highly valued but not essential)
- Sound analytical skills
- Is technically strong with comprehensive knowledge of the tax system
- Enjoys helping people
- Committed to proving exceptional client experiences
- Likes to work in a team environment, having fun and being social
