We are growing our team and need talented and passionate professionals to join the Glencore Finance team as Business Analysts within our North Queensland Zinc Assets Operation.  This is a residential position, based in Mount Isa on an attractive 9-day fortnight (5/2 4/3).

Reporting to a Senior Business Analyst, you will be working as part of a Finance team that provides key financial information to stakeholders and delivers strategic business analysis. The positions is responsible for the provision of accurate and timely financial planning, forecasting and budgeting, delivering robust and accurate business cases aligned with business objectives, identifying continuous improvement opportunities and understanding customer requirements to deliver value-add services.

To be successful, you will have 3-5 years’ of relevant experience. Experience in Mining, Engineering or the Construction industry will be highly regarded. You will also be able to demonstrate interpersonal skills, strong communication, problem solving, analytical skills and improvement capability. Further requirements for the position are a high level of competency with MS Office (particularly MS Excel), Ellipse (ERP) or similar and prior experience with Cognos TM1 would be considered an advantage.

You will hold a degree or tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance. Engineers or other technical specialists with the relevant skillsets are encouraged to apply.
