This is a unique opportunity for a suitably experienced Senior Bookkeeper to assist and manage the bookkeeping/finance process for a group of restaurants and associated investments. We offer the opportunity to work School hours and or flexible days.
We are a 20-year-old business/team with well-developed systems and understanding for our business.
Your role will manage our bookkeeping and account management process and provide our management team and owners with internal reporting.
You will be responsible for:
- Management of Multiple entities
- Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Reconciling Accounts
- Profit & loss/balance sheet preparation and analysis monthly
- BAS / PAYG / FBT and payroll tax returns
- Inter-company Invoicing
- Monthly KPI Reporting and budgeting
- Cash-flow Reporting
- Fixed Asset Register
- Liaise with external accountants
- Supplier contract renewals and tenders
- Insurance claims processing and management of claims
- Landlords and Tenants payments/management
Candidates considered suitable for this position will have a solid background in a role of a similar nature and have used MYOB and possibly shoe books in previous roles. Strong experience in month end and financial reporting combined with strong knowledge of various relevant accounting principles is essential. Your ability to use Excel to an intermediate level is also a requirement. You will have passion in gaining improvement in financial areas of the business while working closely with the owner's objectives and goals.
The successful applicant will have experience in Financial Accounting with the following skills and attributes;
· 5 years minimum in a accounts function.
· Experience working within a commercial business
· Excellent verbal communication skills· Strong attention to detail
· The ability to demonstrate a need for long-term employment.
