About the role
Reporting directly to the CEO, AVANSER's Finance and Operations Manager will be responsible for analysing every day financial activities and subsequently inputting into the future strategy of the company. You will lead the Finance and Administrative staff to create a team identity that is positive, results focused and efficient. You will ideally grow with the role and be keen to take on more responsibility as the business demands.
Duties will include;
- Financial reporting with interpretation and direction provided to the leadership team.
- Maintain the financial health of the organization across multiple countries.
- Analyse costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company's actual performance compared to the business plans.
- Develop trends and projections for the company's finances.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities internally and with our vendors.
- Oversee operations of the finance and admin departments, set goals and objectives on the automation of practices and a more efficient way of working, and design a framework for these goals to be met.
- Manage the preparation of the company's budget.
- Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
- Oversee the facilities function within the office, maintaining an effective work environment for all of our offices.
- Oversee the HR function within the company, being responsible for HR documentation and best practices.
- Oversee the legal function, ensuring appropriate legal advice is sort where required.

Skills and experience
- Proven experience as a Financial Manager
- Experienced people manager, ideally cross functionally. Be able to lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
- Background in automation or process improvement projects
- Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns
- Proficient user of finance software, Xero preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles, international experience will be highly regarded
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations, including HR best practices
- BS/MA degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus
- Experience in Telco, Call Tracking, Call Intelligence an advantage, but not essential
