OPPORTUNITY

A unique opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Clerk with payroll experience to join our bright and friendly finance team. With flexibility to work across both our Melbourne CBD and newly refurbished Dandenong office, you will provide a high quality and efficient accounts service for the Firm as well as provide back up support for payroll.

This role will have an accounts payable focus but will also undertake a diverse range of processing of cheques, receipts and journals; reconciliations of bank statements, petty cash, data entry, creditors, general ledger, trust ledger accounts duties, end of month reporting and special projects as required.

ABOUT YOU

We are seeking an accounts superstar with at least 2 years experience in a similar role within the professional services industry (preferably legal). You have experience maintaining confidentiality and naturally align with our values of talk straight, play as a team and better each day.

The role will suit those who enjoy assisting with a broad range of accounts and payroll duties. As a member of a close team, you will be self-motivated, work well both independently and with others and possess excellent communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must and experience in Elite3E or another legal practice management and accounting software package would be considered an advantage.

The team is friendly, bright and easy-going so it would be great if you have a similar nature and a flexible, "nothing is too much trouble" attitude.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake and satisfy a National Police Records Check.
