About the role
These roles act as a key business partner and communicator across the top level of the business who lead and drive development and provision of decision support services to enhance business performance, key insights and strategies.
With one direct report, the roles report into the Senior Finance Manager and work closely with a variety of peers to optimise shared service resources, finance business partners and non-financial partners to support business units with complex reporting, analysis, accounting and budgeting.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Lead, manage and present the review and analysis of actuals and forecasting results for BUs
- Presentations and Q&A to Heads of Finance and Leadership teams
- Lead and deliver accurate financial reporting and complex analysis and insights to key stakeholders
- Manage and review the forecasting process
- Provide expert financial support and advice in all matters including ad hoc requests
- Actively contribute and manage special projects including new business opportunities, products analysis and capital projects
- Lead a small team and provide effective mentoring and leadership support and strategies to drive process improvement
About you
To be the right fit for this role you will have 7-10 years post-qualified experience, coming from Big 4 or second tier Corporate or Transaction advisory background, having worked in complex ASX listed businesses previously.
Additionally you will have:
- Experience leading small teams
- Strong financial modelling skills
- Advanced systems including Excel skills (VBA/macros)
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Experience across a wide range of financial and non-financial stakeholders
- Capability to work on cross functional projects
- Ability to connect and develop relationships outside of Finance
