Financial Accountant required for Warehouse and logistics company in Melbourne West.
Your new company
This Australian owned logistics business is well renowned for it's import and export services both locally and internationally. Its head office situated in the Western suburbs offers a fantastic office and team culture. Due to maternity leave cover, they now require an experienced Financial Accountant to join the business on an 18 month fixed term contract.
Your new role
You will manage a small team across accounting support functions and end of month financial reporting. You'll work with the Financial Controller to prepare monthly statutory reports including BAS, IAS and Payroll Tax. The role will be hands on combined with overseeing the accuracy of the GL accounts and maintaining data integrity.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience in a similar role combined with your willingness to embed yourself into the business and adapt quickly to a fast paced yet down to earth office culture will lead to your success in the role. You will come with prior exposure across both financial and management accounting functions combined with relevant tertiary and professional qualifications.
