The opportunity
A rare opportunity to join an industry leading and highly successful national IT recruitment agency, in Sydney’s CBD. The successful applicant will join the payroll team under the direction of the Payroll Manager, processing staff payroll for the Australian and New Zealand businesses.
Working in a supportive team environment responsibilities will include:
Payroll processing for 200+ staff
Payroll admin - new starter set up, termination & leave calculations
Ensuring compliance with superannuation and taxation requirements
Time sheet management for IT consulting staff
Being a key point of contact for all payroll queries
Assisting with process improvements
Who you are
The successful candidate will have the following skills and capabilities:
A strong background in payroll (2 years+) and understanding of the processes
Experience with specialist Payroll software
NZ payroll experience would be advantageous
Good Excel skills
Be highly motivated, proactive and well organised
Proven ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the business
Excellent attention to detail
Customer delivery focus
Team player
